Me and my friends were on Granville Street tonight. It was a hot stiffly night. Very humid. The warehouse was extremely busy. While we were waiting to get into their bar. The lovely man Tony working the front opened up the garage doors to let a very subtle yet necessary draft in. Thank you Tony for being so caring. That breeze allowed us to enjoy our wait to enter your amazing bar.

Once we were allowed in, cooled off and refreshed. We were presented with the most exceptional service north of the border. Barry (angel on earth) served us up with the best vodka sodas I've ever had!! And that says a lot. I've been to 15 counties.

    This place is 5star service!

I think going to The Warehouse is one of those right of passages for newcomers to Vancouver. You just got to a new city, it's all new and exciting, the mountains are so close you can touch them, the glassy buildings go on forever, you've taken the speedy Sky Train and even  seen a few colourful characters roaming around. And then somewhere it's hit you that despite everything you've read and prepped yourself for; its still surprising how expensive Vancouver can be.

Enter Granville St and $5.95 meals. That's right. A whole menu and every single item is a mere $6. In a way, why wouldn't you? That's way cheaper than a grocery bill. And, the place is bustling, you see actual people dining in, so obviously it can be trusted. Right?

It's dimly lit. Maybe so you can't really see or inspect your dish? I'm not entirely sure but hey I wouldn't judge you for using your phones flashlight just to see the menu. I ordered the avocado taco; the rest ordered perogies, a chicken sandwich, wings and a burger. When the food came out, they were all in sizeable portions. Impressive. The avo tacos were beer battered taking the healthy out of the avocado but they were super filling. The perogies were thickly battered and a meal by themselves. Do understand that one item will fill you up. But I gotta hand it to them, I waited in line for a table and when I left, there was still one to get in. $5.95 is apparently where it's at.

And not only is the food inexpensive, so are the drinks. It was Wednesday, and our friend Jack Daniels was $4. C'mon guys, do you need more reasons? Cheap drinks, vibing music and a string of Christmas lights will make you feel like you're eating in a garage; with the lights off. But hey, when in Rome or I mean, on Granville?!

Did you just pay rent or are in between pays? Visit The Warehouse to treat yo'self on a tight budget.

Food is very cheap and it didn't taste horrible for the price. Atmosphere is hippie and loud, the music they play is mostly rock. It can get annoying sometimes when i'm trying to talk to my friends, it's hard to hear when the music is too loud. The service I had wasn't horrible, it was OK.

This place is usually packed during their rush hour peaks, and there would be huge wait lines. The waitress was very nice to me and my friend, she told us we looked beautiful and glamorous for our night out. Overall, for the service and price I 100% recommend this restaurant for a cheap and quick bite. Only downside is they don't accept credit card and debit, only cash.

It's so awesome that this place has a 5$ menu! Literally everything on it is so good, especially the burgers! They are so juicy.

There are two locations of the Famous Warehouse that I have been to. One is located in Whistler Village and the other is in Granville Street (Downtown VANCOUVER).
Both locations serve the exact same menu and have a sign at the front that states "$5.95 anything in the menu All day".
Their food is pretty decent in proportion and taste for their menu. They serve a mix of Finger foods such as calamari, tacos, quesadilla for starters. For their meal they have burger or sandwiches and also big bowls such as spaghetti. Furthermore, they have salad and BEER!!
I rated this restaurant a three out of five because the food is decently priced and pretty tasty. However, their washrooms have a lot of graffiti and tend to have a strong smell which I am not a fan of. Also, their tables is sometimes sticky, and the one in downtown is usually busy on the weekends and evenings.
